Can anyone point me to a guide on how to enlarge the swapfile from the 512m one the installer made?
I have googled and searched, but haven’t found anything that actually worked yet.
I’d like to be able to shut the lid of my laptop at night.

I agree with @lorebett cause is easy to waste hours to reading and learning on Arch Wiki. Just Arch Wiki tell all question you want
