hm i dont think so? i just set it to be higher in the boot priority think and booted from it that way earlier
Secure boot you said is disabled. CSM should also be disabled. Should be set to boot UEFI only.
dd with bs=1M; sync → It also works very well and fast!
Have you tried another usb stick?
it could help to “reinitialize” the stick by cleaning it off like you would do for creating windows installer:
3. How to Create a Bootable Drive Using Command Prompt → here → https://www.makeuseof.com/windows-11-create-bootable-usb-drive/
till " Type the following command and hit enter to activate the partition:"
Active
yea so i just found my other usb stick and dd mode still gets a read error but just using the iso mode on rufus works
weird since i was able to install windows and use my old usb normally too
i installed it, i got the message from the installer saying that it was done, but i cant boot into it. Its stuck on the booting(acer) screen and doesnt go past that if i try to go into the bios, but my windows installation on my other ssd works fine
nvm figured that out too for some reason the ssd showed up in “boot from a device” option on windows
Etcher has given me 0 errors.
One could also load popsicle
onto a booted live ISO and burn the ISO that way as well.
It would be helpful if you can post your hardware. Post the link if you are able to boot on the live ISO and run this. Need internet connection.
