(I’m not sure whether this goes in applications or DE’s due to the specificity of both an application and a DE so I put this in Newbie for now)
This issue specifically only manifests on XFCE. I’ve unfortunately had to do some DE hopping due to inexplicable issues I was experiencing on KDE and then Cinnamon. XFCE worked stable without any of the major issues I had there BUT I noticed after running it for a week very happy that when I went to the steam workshop to try and add mods for a game, that this menu here just… fails to work for the most part. All of the dropdown options here specifically do not work on XFCE. I tried the flathub version - same issue there. Tried turning compositing off, Enabled context menu focus, disabled GPU acceleration, starting steam with some LLM generated launch commands - nothing worked to fix this issue, at best I got partial functionality in the top but barely at that.
