Steam Flatpak "remote control requested" freeze

Hi,

Every time I connect my controller the “Remote control requested” dialogue appears. When I select “Share”, my screen freezes and is only restored after about 20 seconds.

I usually get my controller to work after selecting “Share” a couple of times.

I’ve installed Steam via FlatHub and installed the udev rules required by Steam. I am running Flatseal as well, but the only change I’ve made to the permissions was to add my games’ directory.

Any assistance would be appreciated and let me know what logs would be useful to provide.

Seems like there might be some delay with the portals service, or something of that nature. Powering a controller on and leaving it for a while before triggering the “Share” dialogue seems to avoid the screen freezing up.
