My steam suddenly become like this:
The store page can not load, and there is a green lock at top left corner. I have tried reboot but it does not help, however my library page can load and I can update games successfully…
System: Up to date Endeavour OS
This issue happens on both my intel+nvidia desktop and amd cpu+gpu laptop, both of them using kde wayland.
Did you try starting steam from the terminal to check if it shows error messages?
Mine’s been doing this for a while now. I’ve found that it’s always right after I come out of suspend. The only “fix” I’ve found is to restart steam.
Just exit the full-screen mode of the application, reduce the window size.
It fixed itself somehow, I’ll keep this topic open since it happens frequently, and I’ll report if it happens again and try above methods
