Hi all

strange, on my machine i still have Ogg
yes I do not understand why I do not list them my version is as follows …
It doesn’t have any optional dependencies but perhaps it needs something else installed for that functionality?
I installed all the dependencies written on the wiki
Soundconverter doesn’t need any additional codecs for conversion. As far as I know, it utilizes gstreamer capabilities for decoding and encoding.
What is the output of yay -Qs gst-
I don’t like reading output in screenshots. I prefer text in code tags.
I’ve used soundconverter in the past, i sometimes encoutered some issue like no ogg, since i’ve moved to https://archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/ciano/
For me the best converters out there are XCFA (unluckily no further development by the, if I’m right, french developers; still keep a package of the last version as a backup, because no more availability in AUR) and Soundkonverter (most complete in my opinion; supports a ton of formats). I still hope that someone will pick up development of XCFA.

I have already heard of ciano never try
I advanced on my side, I found by myself the solution to my problem it was a missing package … That digital ink for nothing … Thank you all the same for your help!
Additional output on my system, which provides ogg format in soundconverter :
local/gst-plugin-gtk 1.18.5-2
Multimedia graph framework - gtk plugin
local/gst-plugins-base 1.18.5-1
Multimedia graph framework - base plugins
local/gst-python 1.18.5-3

Maybe installing those already solves the issue.
Edith says :
I accidentally deleted the package in my list, which would have solved the issue.
