Was the "what are you listening to" thread deleted in the recent Lounge change? I can’t find it.

@Bryanpwo - Can I start a new “What Are You Listening To?” thread? Or is that now considered out of bounds?

No problem if the “Listening” topic is taboo now. I just don’t want to ruffle any feathers out there.
Not 100% sure but I believe that this all situation started with something that happened in that thread,
I may be wrong, but I believe it was the Joke thread that started the mess.
I read someone say that a user posted some music related to a political movement that is now growing in the USA and someone replied with another music that was anti that movement. But I might be wrong.
Moderating, in particular, the jokes and music threads became a burden, and instead of the thread being light and fun, the joke became on us having to deal with that amount of work.
We should wait a bit till we sorted out how we will handle this internal.
Thats nothing we can do from yesterday to tomorrow.
If the topic is reinstated, IMHO it should be re-titled something like “What MUSIC are you listening to?” in order to attempt to preserve the intent of the topic, the sharing of the music each of us love, and to keep things apolitical as it and the rest of our beloved forum must be going forward
That was still an issue. The songs in question were protest songs. The last being Bruce Springsteen’s “Minneapolis” anti-ICE song.
Might be less of a headache than the Jokes thread, but people could definitely start arguing about politics/religion here. I don’t care personally (I’ll just ignore it), but I can see it bothering other users.
