I’ve downloaded EOS iso on 2026-09-08,
The installation started in German (because my geo-IP is switzerland. which is already wrong because I’m in the italian part… but that’s not my point now)
so I switched it to English.
The installer was in English,…
But on the username/password settings page, it temporarily went back to German.
Where to report this bug?
Currently the website is being revamped. There used to be a section for this i remember but is unavailable at the moment. I only see this link which doesn’t show the full post.
Language in login/password page corresponds to keyboard locale you chose previosly, not to country or installation language
I would not think this related to the installer, maybe @joekamprad can shed some light on this and rule out if a bug or whatnot
Ya … I’m not familair with how the language settings work as I only use english CA and US english for the keyboard..
A known issue with the user module, will be resolved with next release. This was one a rebuild using same sources of the installer as titan main release.
Needs a bigger remerge on the sources.
me too. my “crime” was to travel trough different geo-IP area
