[SOLVED] AUR problems again?

Did you try paru instead of yay? They should both work, but maybe paru shows a different output?

paru:

:: Looking for PKGBUILD upgrades…
:: Looking for AUR upgrades…
:: Looking for devel upgrades…
error: error sending request for url (``https://aur.archlinux.org/rpc``): error trying to connect: unexpected EOF

edit: different output indeed

Your yay and paru are not working, here they both work.
Not sure why, but could be many reasons.

Can you see the AUR page with a web browser?

plot thickens:

The connection has timed out

The server at aur.archlinux.org is taking too long to respond.

  • The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.

  • If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.

  • If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that LibreWolf is permitted to access the web.
