[SOLVED] Apps Opening On Reboot All Of A Sudden

I haven’t made any changes in system settings at all, except for themes. All of a sudden, each time I reboot, 3 apps open. RSI Launcher, Brave Origin, and Mousepad.

On every reboot, after entering password I’m greeted with this…

None of them are in my Autostart apps…

Any ideas on why this may have started and how to stop it?

Do you have desktop session restore enabled?

KDE/Plasma settings->System->Session->Desktop Session

It sounds like the desktop session may be restoring previously open applications rather than using the Autostart list. I’d check the session-saving option as well as , since EndeavourOS desktop environments can start applications through more than one mechanism.

Look for

~/.local/state/plasmasessionrestorestaterc

And see if you can find any entries.
Otherwise I was thinking of something like this.

/etc/xdg/autostart

And check the desktop entries (and/or contents of them) for possible triggers e.g.

Also some config file may trigger this.

That was it…

Very, VERY strange. I’ve always had it set on “Start With An Empty Session.” I have no idea how it was changed. I did not change it. Maybe an update changed it???

Regardless, thanks @MrSmartepants!
