Solaar dont show connected devices

i installed solaar to setup my logitech mx master 3s cursor speed but i dont see any devices connected also came in the box with receiver connected both mx keys mini and mx master 3s

Are you using the Logitech MX Master via Bluetooth or using the Logitech Unified USB adaptor? I think solaar is only for the latter (Sorry, if I am wrong).

My Logitech MX Ergo has both; nearly all the time I use Bluetooth (works well … except sometimes in between). If I remember correct, solaar was only needed to couple the mouse with the Unified dongle.

i use it with logitech receiver logi bolt which cames in the box with mouse because i dont have bluetooth on my pc

I had to do some further setup using the Arch Wiki

check if the plugdev group exists

cat /etc/group

if it doesn’t exist create it

sudo groupadd plugdev

add your user account to the group (where user_name is your user name)

sudo gpasswd -a user_name plugdev

after installation run

sudo udevadm control --reload-rules

replug the receiver.

the problem solved i dont know how it started working but when i bootup my pc tried 1 more time to open solaar and now shows everything
