Slow Startup

I’m not sure what happened, but my startup started taking much longer.

Other possibly helpful info: before this happened, I was trying to fix my backlight brightness not working, and tried installing different packages to see if that was resolved, like acpilight, brightness, light, brillo, etc. This might have an effect, besides the packages I have updated the previous day.

Please advise!

I don’t think the LTS kernel has the ibt fix in place yet (that only recently happened on mainline kernel)

Temporarily add ibt=off as a kernel parameter or try booting into the mainline kernel to see if the time stays?

Hmm weird, I think the problem disappeared overnight, not sure why. It might be because I forgot to close Musescore before logging out before.
