Sleep mode broken after updating to kernel 6.17.1

After updating to kernel 6.17.1, suspend is no longer working. The system will briefly attempt to go into sleep mode (systemctl suspend), the keyboard backlight turns off and I lose video output. After a few seconds, the fans spin back up and the keyboard backlight turns back on, but there is no video output rendering the system unusable until a hard shutdown is used.

This is the journalctl output related to suspend the last time I tried to do it: https://0x0.st/KuwK.txt

inxi -Fxxc0z output: https://0x0.st/KuwZ.txt

Thank you!

Downgrade the nvidia driver and check again.

I actually don’t have any nvidia drivers installed
I was mostly using that GPU for virtual machines, but since I switched to EndeavourOS a while back I haven’t gotten around to setting it up again. The behavior is the same with no driver or with nouveau.

Was also having this issue, seems to be fixed now after updating today, wasnt a kernel update so I’m not really sure what fixed it, maybe something KDE related since it seemed to only do it when sleeping from the start menu but worked normally when I did it from the lock screen, unless that was just coincidence
