Hello together,
I am new to EndeavourOS since yesterday. I came from Garuda Linux.
I have one problem with the Signal Desktop App window. It’s showing the Wayland icon instead of the Signal icon in the titel bar. I can’t figure out how to fix that. What I saw right now it’s only Signal.
Anyone has an idea?

Thx mate, that fix worked. Can that be fixed from EndeavourOS side or do i need to stay on that workaround?
Is that the default Breeze icon set? If so, I think it’s fine to stick with the workaround. The Breeze icon set is maintained by KDE, so I don’t believe the Endeavour team is responsible for it.
Everything is default after fresh install. Ok, I see.
I tried to start a Session with X11 instead of wayland. there has Signal the correct icon without that workaround. So that behavior is only on wayland session. Thx again
I’m on CachyOS but also got this issue today after having upgraded my system. Having not had it before, I suspect something has changed either in the Signal package or KDE that caused the issue. So might be a temporary issue and it’s probably not the fault of EndeavourOS, since I have it on Cachy as well. Anyways, thanks for the workaround!
I see, thx for that information. My brother on Endeavour has that problem not but he installed signal over flatpak.
I think it’s a KDE related Problem then because I found another app, bit only Signal. Ventoy installed over chaotic-aur has that Wayland icon too.
