I would never mistreat myself like that. It was entirely for showing off, right? What is useful about getting a different prompt because the system couldn’t find an executable file?

You’re kidding me ? It’s useful when a command/script don’t show any error message and you don’t know what happened.

bash works fine. I’ve seen no reason to change, and the one time I did, fish almost killed me.

Is it Gis-weather ? I would use it if I didn’t decide to keep my desktop clean of any icon/widget, because Xfce weather plugin is not accurate.

i only have 4 items on my desktop and they are spread out. Gis weather is ok but not always accurate and doesn’t give all the information at times. the earlier post that shows the gis is missing a lot of information it should be showing
this is how its supposed to be all the time but its not.

I have PILES of weather on screen (mostly secondary monitor) - but that is because I have reason to track it in several different localities…
Magdalena NM, Satellite Beach FL, Westerly RI, Frankfurt DE, Desden DE, New Delhi IN, Macleay Island AU as well as here (Toronto ON). The first three and the last are with ‘state’ IDs, the rest are country codes, btw. Here is what I run for local:
