I can’t say the same about mine . They break everything they touch, especially my daughter. Thankfully, she now has her own place to wreak havoc, and her boyfriend gets to fix everything (computers excluded, that is still my job:sweat_smile:)

how old is your daughter if you are okay to answer to that

Because they are not kids, late 20’s :face_with_peeking_eye:

But we are all kids, so… kids.

From what I can tell she looks younger than most. She will be the cool grandma that runs Linux on her computer

A quick update on this post. Unfortunately, the Bird of Prey is a little too heavy (sadly) for my case, so I decided to go with a small fleet consisting of one Romulan, one Klingon, one Cardassian, and three Federation starships.

(I had to make space on the wall unit for my boxes of mangas.)

Yes the wooden hand looks very good. It was a present some years back from my sister. I think she got it from IKEA.

Lucky Strike hardpack? Gross. The soft pack you roll up in your sleeve is what all the kids really think is cool.

I found that pick but it captured ‘one of those days’ pretty well

Unicomp makes keyboards that emulate the IBM keyboard of the 1980s:

Unicomp is really shit compared to the original.
Never forget: Model M was the cheap alternative to the cheap alternative, and this was only true for the first generation, every one after that made it worse, what was sold to Unicomp was 6th gen, and no it is even worse. Those Keyboards are not worth the money. If one would go full retro then modelfkeyboards.com would be the way. But as the word “creamy” is used I ask myself: WTF should creamy be for a sound? This is something of this newschool nonsense were the keyboard enthusiasts have gone… I am glad that I left that field a while ago.
