you could buy a whole mansion and supercars with that much ram
I love the color combo. Nice laptop.
I bought it back in 2023 because a shop made a error with the price (i even called them for it). The notebook itself was ā¬2.399. Someone bought it and returned it because if he/she was gaming the temperature went to high. Coolblue put it on sale for ⬠1.170,- and i bought it instantly.
Duo my tests, yes temps are high BUT you need to setup the fans OR use coolerboost during gaming. There is a tool made by MSI you could configure the fans if the temps increase. Coolerboost is a button combo that put the fans at max when gaming. During gaming i put up my airphones so the fans are always at max.
The notebook model got on sale 1 and half year later, but never went that cheap as for the price i got it from.
When gaming, all the air movement is a must. I donāt care if my neighbors complain, fans go baby go. Especially in a laptop. I had a Lenovo Legion and I did the same thing. I gave up on teh laptop gaming thing once I went desktop. My laptop is all about lightweight and battery life now.
The colors are made from the game Rainbow Six Extraction. MSI made a notebook edition from it.

Absolutly
Don“t use it much anymore ?
Yes and no. I carry it with me to work occasionally, but most of itās job right now is tv duty (that should chancge soon when I get my NUC finally setup) and when I travel/travel for work. So, if Iām traveling, I really donāt care to game. I want to enjoy my wife/whatever weāre doing. I like to get offline more when away. I use it to search for things to do when we get back to hote/airbnb at night but thatās about it.
My laptop is a thinkpad t480s. I upgraded the terrible display to an led, I did the glass trackpad out of an x1 carbon but thatās it. Itās plenty for what I need while traveling.
So when I decided I finally had space for a desktop, I sold my Legion to fund it. My wife on the other hand still has a 5900x/6600u Legion 5, and I got it for her in white as she loves white computers. Rocking 64gb ram in hers, Iāve only got 40gb in my thinkpad, but thatās plenty for quite some time Iām imagining.
edit: finally a worthwhile night shot
that looks like a cyberpunk laptop

Iāve built all my desktops since 1999. Of course, itās not really ābuildingā but more of just putting the pieces/parts together. ![]()
Here is one of my setups. This is my setup for EnOS ARM dev work.
The tower contains Odroid N2+ on top, RPi 4b in the middle, RPi 5 on the bottom
and a RPi 500 Plus on the pull out shelf.
My Pinebook Pro ARM laptop and my EnOS x86_64 computer are in
another room.

Premium support for the Aurora ends in a month or so. Soon it will be time to loose winblows, and see if EOS will work on it.
Mineral water??? I thought better of you than that so judge I will!
