Yeah, I have a hard time relating to snow, I’ve never seen snow while living here in Phoenix. Big part of the reason I can survive while owning the vehicles I do.

I trust they have air-con? My experience with Phoenix is driving with the windows open, in short sleeves in January… while the locals are wearing winter coats! (I was based in Calgary at the time, and left from -35C that trip)

OH yeah, just had the Mustang AC serviced to get it ready for summer. Should probably do the same on the Vette now…

We do have a “Winter” season in December and January. Temperatures at that time range from 24°C (75°F) to 32°C (89°F) with low humidity. Late February and into March it starts to get silly hot with high humidity. Today, for example, the temp reached 37°C (98°F). When you figure in the humidity, the temp reached 46°C (114°F) today! This goes on until the rainy season which starts mid-April-ish. Then the temps and the humidity will be a little lower.

Having grown up on a farm in Iowa, in the United States, I miss the cold. My wife has never seen snow.

I miss my 2005 4.6L Windveil Blue Mustang GT. I was in 29 Palms, California (Mojave Desert). It was a fun drive to go from there to Vegas on long weekends. They are available here, but they are stupid expensive.

Sold my Alesis VI 61 Midi controller as it was too large to actually be placed anywhere without getting in the way.
Got a new Arturia MiniLab a few days ago.

Was surprised that the keys actually do feel as good as I’ve heard people talk about them in the reviews.

I think i need an intervention. I ordered a new small case for my pc thinking i could transfer my stuff over.

SilverStone Technology Ultra Compact Mini-ITX Computer Case with Mesh Front Panel Black (SST-SG13B-USA)

when i realized i couldn’t i tried to cancel the order but it was too late so i bought a motherboard to fit it, mini-itx, with 2.6 gb ethernet and wifi 6 built in.

GIGABYTE B550I AORUS PRO AX

bought a modular power supply because the case is so small cable management is an issue.

Power Supply 700W 80+ Bronze Semi Modular, GAMEMAX GM-700

also because there’s limited space i bought a single fan all in one water cooler thinking there would not be enough room for the amd stock cooler.

EVGA CLC 120mm All-In-One CPU Liquid Cooler, 1x 120mm Fan, Intel, 5 YR Warranty, 400-HY-CL11-V1

then after ordering all that i discovered my ryzen 5 2400g apu isn’t supported by the motheboard and so i ordered a ryzen 5 3600 and 32 gb of 3200 ddr4 memory because my 2400 ddr4 memory is underpowered for it.

tl;dr i bought a new pc today from parts that cost me 772$ us and i’ll be reusing my rx-570 in it.

Arctis Pro Wireless, because my old P800’s left channel stopped working. Finally an excuse to buy the new model. I’m going to try to repair the old headset and give it to the wifey.

how are the temps holding up in that little case?
I love those SFF builds btw

I have stressed the little machine with stress/s-tui and stopped at 86 degrees.

Yes it gets hot with 8 cores.

Under normal conditions, it’s about 35 degrees, ver very reasonable. About as warm as the 4 core intel it replaced.

Well you probably won’t be peggin al 8 cores at 100% load all the time anyways
congrats with a build well done!

For desktop use I added the rear audio cable option and will be installing the extra 2 USB ports.

Was surprised to see the mail man on a sunday.
