Well…I finally went & did it….not quite enough money for a VR set…..so…..
Not really the latest purchase (it’s almost week old) but I finally managed to get back to good old x86-64 machine (after some time with corporate Windows laptop and MacBook) with some very good hardware. This time I went to buy parts and built it myself.
Specs for those who interested:
Case - Lian Li A3 mATX Wood w/ Normal and Reverse P12 Pro Fans
PSU - Deepcool Gamer Storm PS850G
Motherboard - MSI MAG B850M MORTAR WIFI
RAM: Apacer NOX 2x32Gb DDR5-6400MHz (lowered to 6000 with tighter timings)
CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D
Cooling - Deepcool LE360 V2 w/ Arctic P12 Pro Fans

That is top-notch, right there! Very nice specs. I like the relatively recent addition of wood to new cases. What kind of RAM do you have?
Oh I forgot to say about the RAM ![]()
It’s Apacer NOX 2x32Gb DDR5-6400MHz but I use it in DDR5-6000 with tight timings
case wood fits with floor even..
Fantastic RAM. Did you need to take out a mortgage on the house to buy that RAM? ![]()

I have been keeping eye on steel pans. Got some time ago ceramic one and won’t be going back to teflons.
usually going for cast iron or carbon steel but stainless is nice too if you follow the rules ![]()
Ceramics totally legit too. But stainless is robust as hell even survive dishwasher.
My father-in-law probably just got a heart attack. ![]()
stainless steel is dishwasher save you may need to cleanwater rinse them after washing, but thats why we use them in professional kitchens.
Oh, I know.
You see… he’s… a man of principles. ![]()
Look at this fork-scratchable beauty. Using teflon for kitchenware should one day be considered a war crime.
Cast iron pans are also fork-compatible ykyk ![]()
