I’ve got a bunch of games at this point. Some ofthose steam sales are nuts, it’s like 5+ games, with DLC stuff and ends up being like $1-2/game sometimes. Watch the sales.
I’ve been looking at a newer thinkpad for a while now, but I just realized they do libreboot on the t480s now . . .
The P14s has 2 ram slots?
Gen 5 & 6, Gen1 & 2 have 1 SODIMM + 1 soldered (8 or16), Gen 3 & 4 Intel the same, Gen 3 & 4 AMD fully soldered.
P14s Gen5 & 6 Intel is now a 14.5” laptop, while the AMD is still physically identical to the T14.
I LOVE the display selection for the P14s Gen 5/6 Intel. No OLED, multiple choices above WUXGA (specifically WQXGA (2560x1600) and 3072x1920). It’s a wonderful machine physically, and I so wish they’d hurry up and switch the AMD over to the new form factor and features.
Today I received another package from the UK. This time it’s “The Rising of the Shield Hero” Season 1-3.
I went to the local comic book store this morning. There I got manga 1-5 of Ranma 1/2 New Edition (german). ![]()
After many years (more than 15 years) without speakers on my PC, I finally bought some again. I chose the Edifier M60 (connected to the FiiO K5 Pro) because they are particularly small but still sound very good, at least to me. I’m happy.
(Unfortunately, the pictures I took didn’t turn out great.)
Wow, nice. Edifier already has an awesome sound. I have them connected to my TV, as I run the Yamaha amp on my PC. Combined with your K5, you’re sure to have a lot of fun (and so will your neighbors
)

Yes, I have to be careful. Some songs have been recognized even when someone is one floor above my room. ![]()
Which controller do you use ?
It is a GuliKit KK3 MAX.
Does it really shine like it does on the photo? I have only seen uranium glass on the pictures.
Yeah, it’s real uranium glass. It looks bright in UV light.
I went to the local comic (manga) bookstore again today and picked up the mangas I had ordered. ![]()
(But now I have to take a break, otherwise I’ll soon be out of money
)
So when they say it’s your turn to shine, they really mean it.
And yet another device to tinker around with.
An I2S ADC (Analog to Digital) Audio interface, based on a WM8782S chip that would support audio capturing from RCA or 3.5 audio jack with up to 192kHz, 24bit.
As my previous attempts to digitalize & equalize my phono stage were more or less unsucessful, I’ve opted for an different option and I hope to get this card up & running to enjoy some room corrected vinyl sounds. With the disadvantage that I may not really satisfied with my current phono stage… and the fact that I’ld have to rebuild my preamplifier / phono stage eventually.
But first, I’ld need to find some documentation. I hate it when they essentially ship electronics without any documentation at all.
I bought a tool (kit) at my work (Hornbach) to open up laptops, notebooks, tablets and smartphones. I needed a pentalobe screwdriver, i knew we had 1 size but never knew we had everything ![]()
