I’m not that familiar with Porche vehicles but my neighbor has the Porche Boxter convertible which i think is rear engine also.

Edit: It’s like 2019 year

Boxster is a mid-engine car, it’s actually what this car is based on. The difference between the Boxster and the Cayman is literally just whether or not it has a fixed roof. All Boxsters are roadsters without a fixed roof, all Caymans are coupes with a fixed roof.

Well like i said i don’t know Porche cars well other than seeing this Boxster. Yes you are right it is a mid engine since i did see in the front and rear compartments.

And there’s not much point in having the future of law enforcement without…

An appropriately scaled, alternative, much less reliable future of law enforcement

Something to keep me occupied this weekend! :slightly_smiling_face:

I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO want a real-life ED209. I bet it would be a lot of fun to watch robbers faces as it gave them a 5 second countdown to back out of the house then just started full auto right after 5…

hah, i had it in my shopping cart a few times, just because it’s cool, and each time asking myself, do i really need it? :stuck_out_tongue: i guess i will eventually buy it myself :stuck_out_tongue:

You do not need it. You just want it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Go ahead and get it. It’s not worth more than a lunch. It’s fun to play around with.

I wasn’t particularly interested in 3D printing until my son moved back home last Fall, bringing his Ender-3 V2. After playing with it a bit, I decided that eventually, I’d get one, too.

As I was researching the available types and models (expecting this to be a long-term project as I was leaning towards a Voron Trident), I discovered that Bambulabs had heavily discounted several models, so cringing heavily, I dipped into savings and got this P1S.

The printer itself is great. My only complaint is that neither BambuStudio nor OrcaSlicer runs properly on my laptop (EOS Cinnamon). Oddly, Orca runs perfectly on my old Yoga 260 (EOS KDE).

Oh, the crap on the right? My son is in the middle of yet another mod for his Ender. I swear, it’s almost like my friends and I were with cars when I was his age – longer ago than I care to admit.

I had to buy a new mouse, because wireless receiver of my old mouse decided to break down and leave it’s metal end to my gaming laptops USB-port. Luckily I was able to get it out with some pliers.

RMA’d my “broken” CPU AIO, but also ordered an air cooler that should fit in my PC case. Just in case there’s no warranty left aaaand I’d probably still go with the air cooler just to keep the PC quieter and easier to service.

Old AIO was clogged. I cleaned out the gunk, so it’s working properly for now at least. If everything goes well, I’ll have two spare AIOs and a silent aircooled PC in the near futre.

Edit: This is the Noctua NH-D15S

I’ve used AIOs since I first build an ITX system to save desk space. I never had any issues with Corsair coolers, which I had bought as individual components. The Kraken 140 AIO that shipped with my case has been the only faulty one. Apparently it’s very common with these systems.

That NH-D15S is one of the best you can have. Good choice! I’m going to get that for my next case, if it fits. It’s going to be a very spicific ITX case to fit such a big boy.

I’ve always used ATX motherboards and mid tower cases or midtower compact cases with air coolers. I have parts for another AMD with 5800X cpu and MSI B550 motherboard and AMD RX6750 XT gpu along with the Noctua air cooler. Should be a good performer. I know it’s not the latest hardware but should have no issues.

That should definitely handle some 1440p gaming and everything else. The 5800X is a solid CPU.

Speaking of 1440p, my ultra-wide monitor eats like 80% of my side of our desk, so small footprint ITX cases is reallly my only option these days unless I hang mount my PC under the desk.

Here in Germany this CPU is on sale for 142€ for a purchase of 2 pieces. This is an unbeatable offer

What two pieces? But yes i paid about $289.99 Cdn for mine in 2022 and has been sitting waiting to get assembled some day. The Noctua fan & heat sink was on top of that for around $100-120 Cdn. I can’t remember exactly but, currently it is on sale @ $99.00 Cdn but, we also have 13% tax.

I’ve always used Air coolers as they are easier to me than setting up an AIO.
