~/.config/mako/config
has font=UbuntuMono 12.5
but I think UbuntuMono is not present by default in EndeavourOS.
No it is installed in ttf-ubuntu-font-family
Okay! So it seems that there may be a difference between installing the CE directly and installing XFCE offline and then following the procedure described in https://github.com/EndeavourOS-Community-Editions/sway under “To Install manually”.
I have my entire pacman.log
still and there’s no mention of ttf-ubuntu-font-family
being installed or removed. The same applies to imv
(also present in the netinstall.yaml you linked to). I installed imv
much later on on December 24.
Side-note: I wanted to install the Sway Edition directly but the installation failed after about 5 hours of waiting & hoping. So I went ahead with the offline XFCE install and then followed the “To Install manually” process. That finished quickly. This was on December 4, 2021 (a day after Atlantis was released).
Anyway, no big deal! I went with hack
instead.
Actually thank you for catching that. Mended now!
