I can´t complain about nvidia at all, my 3070Ti is running butter smooth and my games are playing great under linux. On my older notebook with a 1070 card sometimes it boots up with a black screen (once in 2 weeks) but i blame the firmware from that notebook (acer). Had the same issue back in 2021 - till now.

On my old Acer notebook with a GTX 1060, gaming with ProtonDB works perfectly on X11, but there’s no success with Wayland.
Strange, all my notebooks including the acer one are running wayland just perfectly fine.

I had old pc (MikroMikko 4TT m 216, if I remember correctly) back then, which of course was ancient even by those standards, and I remember clearly how I checked out calendar software of Windows 3.11 to see did it go beyond year 2000.
It did so I was assured Y2K would not affect it.
