Same here. Installed Ubuntu Studio some months back “to do art and art only”, yet I only boot into it to update then reboot back into Arch.
Having multiple distros on the same system is mostly a waste of time (and space). 
I agree. I like to dedicate my PC to one OS… EndeavourOS. My laptop is for other stuff. And even then, the laptop has one OS.

I hear ya!! I HATE WEBP. 
Whenever I run across a WEBP image I want, I use the Firefox extension WebP/Avif Image Converter. Works very well with no loss in quality.
I convert it with imagemagick by right-clicking in my file manager. Forgot to add it to my scripts thread. Just added it.
But yes, I hate seeing them too.
I use Converseen it’s in the repo, it converts more than a 100 different formats
Maybe they mean open in a sense that anyone can access your OS.
