Tried that already long time ago. But when wallpaper changes to a light one you are not able to recognize tray icons then … That looks suboptimal.

How and where do you get notifications? 
notifications run in the background and are a separate part of the system than the panel is. I have no issue getting notifications

In my KDE Plasma, I just have one top panel set to autohide.
No bottom panel for launching applications. I launch applications with krunner.

I have a similar setup with the taskbar to the left and most things launched with krunner, only time I really use the menu is when I have no idea what I am looking for

System Tray:
- While looking around the KDE Store I ran across Antu and Kuyen icons by fabianalexis. I really like them a LOT. I prefer the Kuyen, though. It’s a slightly softer version of Antü icons with a colourful flat style. But both are great.

I just thought they were blue folders. My folders do not change color based on wallpaper.
EDIT: Nevermind. I see I had to change it in system settings from Accent Color From Color Scheme to Accent Color From Wallpaper.
