So, I’ve been running the Plasma desktop for a bit trying to identify what it does well as a desktop. Over the Thanksgiving holiday, I decide to include Kvantum and I’m absolutely loving the “frosted glass” effect that can be generated pretty easily.

Rather plain & simple. Due to an new UWQHD monitor… currently in the progress to check out Polonium / Kröhnkite / KZones. Currently testing KZones, looking for good screen ratios - e.g. how much screen space I like fpr the center part / main window.

No real change since my last post, except a new Samsung 4k smart monitor. With a 3840x2160 resolution, there’s so much more screen real estate! I LOVE IT!

OH BTW FIRST DAY OF SNOW HERE IN MICHIGAN WELL I GUESS YESTERDAY IT WAS LIGHT BUT FIRST DAY OF ACTUALL WHITE SNOW ON THE GROUND SHOWING UP KIND OF THING HERE

updated my fastfetch with someone elses design on this forum. i gotta go back and look who to give credit to but thankx guys looks so much sexxxier than elementary os imo i love endeavouros and I LOVE HAVING GOD-LIKE CONTROL OVER MY PURPLE OPERATING SYSTEM
love how you guys make your work and information known on this site so idoits like me can tinker with my system as well (such as the fastfetch configs). i would literally be clueless how to do such a thing without your guys help

After I’ve spend an hour playing Doom Eternal on my desktop which is still quite new … and I recently upgraded to a 34" UWQHD Monitor @ 100 Hz as of yesterday … I’m very pleased that my small box is capable to push 70 - 100 fps with high settings. Even at 3840x1440 resolution. Not that I really need it.
But boy is that exhausting to my eyes …
Thus, back to my old MacBook Pro 7.1 with it’s teeny tiny 1280x800 screen resolution for a little test driving session with sway instead of KDE Plasma.
Seems like I’ll head straight to .dotfile backup / sharing between machine next.
