hope everyone in the endeavouros community is doing well. watching clerks (the movie by kevin smith i think is his name… silent bob) after watching chasing amy yesterday. hanging out with my dog. he is a good & loyal dog. so far everything here in my world is pretty good. i got no complaints, shooting for a optimistic day. here is a shot of my rig right now, only thing that changed was my simple application launcher icon in the top left which is now white & my purple wallpaper. as always, I SIMPLY LOVE my purple operating system. Sexxxiest OS evah! Hands down. Love how linux is whatever you want to make it. haha anyway may the force be with all my purple friends out there. :wolf:

PS: oh yeah I am getting more cameras on my house today as well, which should be cool. i will share the feed later on for fun.

ONE LAST THING I FIXED MY CONKY SYMBOLS ISSUE (SYMBOLS NOT SHOWING UP) BY CHANGING MY FONT

as seen below which made me very happy

Yep, river is great. Is that a file manager under the bottom left corner of your app launcher? If so, which one is it?

Ubuntu was annoying me to no end recently, so in a spur I put Endeavour, and I’m so glad that I did it, super comfy.

Home folder on separate partitions are amazing, it didn’t take me 30 minutes to be back up and running.

Yeah River is really awesome and fits on my workflow perfectly. I love the tag system because I was using DWM before I went to Wayland.

i decided to try evolution mail for first time yesterday and was amazed on how well it integrates with the gtk2/3 theme i use, much better integration compared to betterbird that i was using, i plan to make evolution my default mail client from now on

I use it since I was so used to Outlook on windows.

One problem I had was that it isn’t particularly easy to migrate to a new email client from evolution. It can export to an mbox file but that can get a little tedious if you have a large folder tree set up as it can only do the contents one folder at a time (as of a year ago). I’m a POP user so this may be a factor.

Also, I noticed on endeavour I have to install aspell (sudo pacman -S aspell-en) to get the spell check.

Edit: Oops. maybe a little off topic for a “Share your desktop” thread

wasnt difficult to me since i tend to keep my inbox and trash always clean and empty, since i am a plasma user i had to log on a gnome session and log with the mail accounts i use on gnome online accounts.

that look cool… Maybe need small colour + Endeavouros twist
EDit. just small fun , it be ok for laptop screen . no good for large/good screen
