They could have made it a little easier to center the time/date, only took me an hour to get that done.
Could you make a tutorial how to do it less than an hour?
Every time I try to center time/date in Plasma I completely manage to mess up my panel… ![]()
Easy way to do it is start off with a blank panel, add two spacers and add a clock inbetween them (been a while since I’ve done it and may need a few extra steps but this is the basics of it)
This is why I always start with a blank panel that way if what I make isn’t the desired result I still have my old one to fall back on
I did as you suggested and it worked! Much easier than trying to move widgets in panel from side to side. Thanks!
I can do it now in 1 minute, but don’t tell anyone. ![]()
Right click on panel - Enter Edit Mode
select - Add Spacer then Add Spacer again.
Slide the Application Launcher to the left.
Slide the Application Icon bar to the left.
Slide the time/date to the center where the dark space is and exit out of Edit Mode.
Ok, that also seems sensible way to center time/date. But I like Smokey’s solution more. Starting with a blank panel feels safer. You can always delete it if something goes wrong and then start all over again… ![]()
Share wallpaper plsssss I’m in love ![]()
I’m still tinkering with Gnome 45 after years of using XFCE. I’ve found extensions that make the top bar look like a combination of i3 and the Tint2 panel I used for a decade. I try to run very simple extensions that only do one thing.
Very nice and sharp.
yeah 6.6.6. ![]()
