They were very necessary at the time and thanks to them, we have today’s technology.
There are still transistorised valve systems that sound better than many of today’s systems.
Of course, I agree, they had their time!

Here is my Xfce desktop on my PC. I also have EOS installed on my laptop but it’s just for fun and Hardcore-Couching. Don’t ask me about the wallpaper though. I’ve been dragging that around for years over installations. ---->
