we should start collecting some nice polybar setups…
New users have a lot of issues starting with it…
Could be a repo here:
Great idea. Polybar really is stupid simple to configure and most of the modules work out of box.
That’s a great idea Joe.
What’s with the all-seeing eye and the pyramid?
Sorry, I don’t understand the question.
What do you mean ?
I think he is curious about the Egyptian theme of your desktop; he wants to know why the theme appeals to you.
I was just wondering why you chose that particular image for wallpaper.
Now I understand the question
I choose that kind of images:
- First because they are to my liking.
- Secondly because I read as much as I can about pyramids, all-seeing eyes, which are exciting.
- Thirdly because it’s a great wallpaper
by direct boot you mean no uboot?
tow-boot on spi.
forgive … best way i can explain
" The process of installing Tow-Boot is different from any other U-Boot, so large parts of the partitioning section will need to be changed if you want to use something else.
If you already have Tow-Boot installed via SPI, you can skip this step. Use fdisk to create a blank GPT partition table. /boot will be partition 1, and / partition 2. "
I use tow-boot on eMMc. You can grab the latest towboot from eos repos if you want. I think I have the newer version
you no understand me … it ok my fault.
I have new tow-boot .
EDit. NVMe Install way (1) staged boot use eMMc or
NVMe install way (2) direct boot (NVMe only )
below install way (2)
edit: See the highlight color? I would like to change it to EndeavourOS color #7f7fff, but I don’t know how. I installed a tool called gtk-theme-config, which has the option, but it doesn’t have any effect.
I just can’t get enough of this new 3 monitor setup. Football, music and forum whoring. Life is good.
@treacle
To customize this, you have to navigate to your theme folders and edit those files directly. They are located in /usr/share/themes/<insert your theme>/
.
For gtk 2.0
, cd
into the gtk-2.0
directory of your theme and then edit the gtkrc
file and change the selected_bg_color
in that file.
For gtk 3.0
, cd
into the gtk-3.0
directory of your theme and then edit the gtk.css
file go to the @define-color
section where you will see selected_bg_color
. Edit the hexcode to the color you want and you’re good to go. I hope this helps.
Nicely done @anthony93 looks awesome
@RedBlizard Thanks. Yours look much better tbh. I saw the screenshot of your polybar.
Holy moly… That is so cool…
