Those cool graphics… that appear when a terminal is started is it a feature of zsh
? Can I make this happen in bash
?
I just did my first system version upgrade ever, on behalf of the goth queen in residence, aka the prime partner. Arch, Antergos, and Endevour are/was very much rolling releases, so there was never a need to do one, but she’s on Fedora 37 now. Nothing changed except the version number. I had fun though.
Edit: Well, one thing changed. The rounded corners on the floating panel are actually round now, and without the white corner “dots”.
I have Fedora Rawhide running on bare metal. It is “rolling”, but once in a while I need to take care of the no. of kernels installed, and to keep the ones working with my hardware. So I set the max no. of kernels installed to 5 on both machines. (Although it rarely happens, that some git-kernels don’t work with bluetooth, or wifi). Usually it is a safe thing to go with…
This particular laptop is meant to be as hassle free as possible for the user, but I’m curious about trying Rawhide out, at least in VR. Running it on bare metal probably would take up to much time to be viable. Endeavour and Arch is quite enough for noob-ish me.
So keep it that way, I would.
What is that terminal color scheme? It looks bonkers
I think it’s the Jolly theme, but not too sure was messing around last night and changed everything again
That was what I was going for on this one too. I’m almost done with the F37 upgrade myself. So far, it’s been rock solid.
I’m not normally a fan of all purple (heresy, I know) but this is sharp!!
BURN HIM!!!111!!! MURDERER!!!111111!
In all seriousness, use what you like.
Heresy , maybe . still it stable as rock. ( if build up minimal install )
keeping it minimal with i3 + xfce4-panel (dotfiles here)
