Excuse my naive question: am I right when I say this theme can only be installed if your DE is KDE Plasma?

At last I managed to find out fully transparent Plasma Theme, which do not causes any flickering 
:
And with enabled floating panel, opened window looks good :

I kinda want to have a go at making a kde splash screen but i really dislike actually using plasma lol

They’re pretty simple to put together - maybe use a VM to test them out

I’ve been thinking of making a basic guide to show people how to do it, I might put one together with a basic splashscreen for people to work with so they can make the changes for themselves. I just keep getting too distracted but.

Haha, actually replacing cinnamon by gnome this time around, and will try to download i3wm eos themed and modify to make it work together.

Running KDE on another laptop, I like using different DE depending on screen size and use case.
Me too, Cinnamon on the laptop and kde on the desktop.
You make me ask myself if i should give again a try when gnome 43 came out. I’ve always heard that gnome is great on laptop. What did you think about this statement ? I was thinking about install KDE on the laptop, some people told me that the wayland touchpad feature was great.
I agree with that. I think it works really well on smaller screens. I also understand why people on the desktop generally prefer KDE. I am always torn between KDE and gnome. Gnome 43 is not out yet on eos, but we are getting there

I’m about halfway done - I’m guessing I’ll have it done over the next week or so
Edit - more likely the so got a phone call just after posting this and will be going into a detox to get my life back on track again
