Never tried it myself, but you could turn Ubuntu into ākind of a rolling releaseā:
PopOS! was the distro that convinced me to use linux as a daily driver.
Itās always my nr1 recommendation for people who want to try Linux.
It doesnāt get any better than Endeavour!
Hey I want those conkies but en englais! I donāt know how to conky?
Gnome 3.38 is not playing nice with ARM at all. Got tired of fighting Gnome every six months. So I went looking for something thatās very stable. Good olā Cinnamon. Nothing fancy but always seems to work.
But, as Htop and System Monitor show, it seems to be using a lot of CPU. Might have to re-consider.
Pudge
Actually, I have tried Rolling Rhino (and still have it) and it isnāt bad either. It rolls just fine, and seems to be as usable as any. So far all it takes is a change to your āupdateā aliasā¦ sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade && sudo apt autoremoveā¦ so it cleans up after itself
No issues with i3 on the odroid n2+ here
That sounds great! Thanks for sharing your experience with Rolling Rhino! Currently I donāt have any Ubuntu installed on any machine but if/when I will have one I might consider rolling it with .
@ricklinux you could follow this post to install it then just replace the French words you want on the conky file, you could also change colors, font etcā¦
You might like the one I did in a Deepin thread a while back for starters - and we can go anywhere with it from there!
Edit: add link
back on topic:
do I see Full Throttle in that screenshot?

XFCE with a plank bar and some conky. I made the move to bare metal a month or so ago and I donāt miss any files yet, so I guess I did a good job of moving everything. I also donāt miss win10 at all, so thatās a very good thing! Posting this before I go all in on BSPWM and blow it all up
