Just sharing this … because I’m annoyed that the latest update to yazi broke the layout and I’m too lazy to fix that issue. Also - my terminal color scheme needs some refinement. But it doesn’t bother me at all that the colors of the EnOS logo doesn’t translate well to this specific color scheme. It’s just the highlighting of typos / invalid syntax within the fish shell that I need to change from a low contrast shade of orange / red to a different one which provides better visibility in low brightness settings in the evening.

But on the other hand, I’m still considering to give niri a try.

Got some inspiration from @1093i3511’s post and decided to experiment with the Ubuntu color scheme! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

@dirn what have you done :scream:
Too many colorschemes on loading.io

@swh , I went down a rabbit hole searching for Ubuntu color schemes. Because of you, I now see they have a massive branding palette! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Disclaimer: I accept no responsibility if you get addicted to color picking too. :stuck_out_tongue:

Unfortunately, that’s just the way it is, my friend. We’ve become prisoners of the Linux empire. Do whatever you want, but do it right

Linux was supposed to free us from The Big Tech Empire!

I guess Freedom is just an illusion making our bondage a bit more pleasant.

Tried experimenting with black & white with gray accent color scheme

I think control station is a bit out of place same with taskbar

EDIT:
Gone full white

EDIT 2:
Final layout with everything configured

Mangowm with Noctalia v5:

v5 is really coming on, odd, occasional problems with tray icons not rendering, but other than that, lower memory, snappier and very configurable.

CachyOS on my Latitude 7400.

Are both bars from Noctalia? I love v4, but I miss being able to configure additional bars (like with DankMaterialShelll).

v5 can have multiple bars:

New Artix install on the Thinkpad T14 Gen 1. Still some theming to mess with. But I like what I see for now.

Hello everyone. For my first post I in turn share my desktop on EndeavourOS . Basic configuration with included themes (Xfce) + forced themes at the base (Bash) to force GTK, QT and everything else to standardize. (Google Traduction)
