Zram vs swap partition vs swapfile

To end the discussion in the “show your desktop” about swap partition yes/no. I want to hear your thoughts about swap and why you use it or not. Personally i have a system up and running with btrfs and 32GB of ram WITHOUT swap enabled. System runs very smooth compared to my Pop! OS install on the same notebook. Keeping Favorite Threads on Topic

Recently we suffered a Loss of a Forum Favorite the original A Little Joke on a Regular Day. (No Link since it’s just a dead end ) The Thread was quite large and had been active for 5 years and then one day it was gone. This has rightfully upset a lot of those users who enjoyed that thread. We had a couple of other Threads that we sparked New Editions of ending in [2025] as to not loose those Original threads. I would like to request in the Spirit of the Forum that we all keep those…
