First, you can fix this. There is already a pull request on GitHub, but the Dev didn’t implement that fix. You have to manually modify a file.
Second, this isn’t the Modern Clock … It’s Conky. I build the Conky config to match Modern Clock. So I’m able to use it on GNOME or other Desktop Environments, too.
