ugh i needed more than luck , i needed patience lol.
plasma on opensuse was super slooow for me , on EOS it was much more responsive. So that peed me off. Then the wifi keeps disconnecting after pc goes in suspend and ONLY way to get it back on is to reboot. Searched and it seem a common problem there , and i couldn’t get it fixed.
That was about all it took for me to say bye bye after 2 days lol.
So ya now I’m back to my roots on debian xfce, where i know how stuff works 
opensuse seems nice and interesting , but i’m tired of battling right out the gate

But…How do you get a German display on the modern clock?
First, you can fix this. There is already a pull request on GitHub, but the Dev didn’t implement that fix. You have to manually modify a file.
Second, this isn’t the Modern Clock … It’s Conky. I build the Conky config to match Modern Clock. So I’m able to use it on GNOME or other Desktop Environments, too.

i left just enough icons on my dock so they did not get squeezed LOL my computer only runs 1920x1080 which is fine by me. i knew i got a good computer… a damn good computer but not the best. i always felt fine with 1920x1080 though personally…
had a busy day running errands all day, at home now with dog face just chillin. so hopin my dad gets the tv stand setup tonight finished or whatever I WANT THAT SMART TV UP and connected to my pc A.S.A.P. it’s gonna look so good

i noticed because i did infact never really use unity that the clock is on the right side with unity, regardless i like my date tikme weather in the middle but unity did look cool even though like i said i somehow missed it in life while still using old school ubuntu here and there
to bad we cannot get unity for arch or endeavour or whatever anymore i saw some unity de but it had not been updated in ages so i didn’t trust it. anyone else know of an available unity let me know please

Finally got QEMU working. I have been fighting for a year to get it working on my laptop. I couldn’t understand why it worked so well on my two desktop which both are underspec’d to my laptop, but the laptop would choke. I then read somewhere that Windows Home only supported a single socket, and since the default is multiple sockets I was limited to one. The desktops all run Windows Pro and had no issue. Changed to 1 socket and 4 cores and instant gratification! Plus this computer has a TPM so I can run 11. Nothing to really brag about but it is nice to have for troubleshooting friend and family computers remotely.
