Setxkbmap in Wayland Openbox (LXDE)

Hello,

I’ve been using for 100 years certain setxkbmap string for setting my typo layout (ru-eng), but after switching to Wayland there is suddenly an issue. Totally new to Wayland asking for help in how to reproduce my layout settings here. The string is

setxkbmap -model pc104 -layout us,ru -option lv3:ralt_switch,grp:caps_toggle,misc:typo,grp_led:caps

I’m definitely asking for a kick in a right direction provided the direction is more or less specific and not some general tips for wayland newbies. Merry Christmas to everyone in the community (:

Welcome and Merry Christmas :christmas_tree:

Openbox is not compatible with Wayland, only with X11, labwc (inspired by openbox and using the same logic, configs, themes) is.

In general -with openbox- I am using in my autostart for setxkbmap the sleep command, something like this (in my older machines sometimes sleep 2):

sleep 1 && setxkbmap -layout "us, gr" -option "grp:alt_shift_toggle"

Oh god, ofc you’re right, it’s ladwc I’m using, installed it just yesterday following Arch wiki. Apologies for misleading. Should I post in different subforum then? Autostart was not working ofc, I know I’m on wayland just forgot it was labwc (: I got confused since it’s says openbox everywhere.

It’s ok
In labwc the keyboard layout is configured in environment file.
