Hey there everyone! I’m new to both Linux and Arch, and have done a lot of distro hopping the last few weeks. Started with Mint, and it was nice. Probably the top 3 that I liked before trying Endeavour OS were Fedora Jam, AV, and Garuda. Garuda was the one that introduced me to the potential of Arch based distros. That being said, while I like the distros, I’m not proficient enough in programming languages to try and create my own from the ground up. So I’m happy to try with Endeavour to create a work flow that works with making a music composition and production studio with the ability to help with the AV needs to upload to YouTube, SoundCloud, GarageBand, Spotify, and wherever else I can get my music heard. Also would like to play a few games, modern and retro, and relax in Second Life, try out OpenSim as well.
Sorry for the long intro. Now for the shorter question at hand. I’m mainly wanting to try and get the most potential out of my Intel® UHD Graphics (CML GT2) of my Intel® Core™ i5-10210U × 8 HP Laptop 17-by2xxx. From the quick reseach I did tonight, I have some understanding that Mesa is the main app for OpenGL type drivers. I also understand Vulcan is somehow the successor for OpenGL. I’m not sure how Vulcan is integrated into Mesa, or if it is at all. So how can I check for if Mesa/Vulcan are updated and/or installed, and how best to upgrade or install them as need be?
