Session Crashing

Hello! I am new to lunix this is my first distro, my friend is a lunix user and suggested this one so I started using it. Ive used EndeavourOS for about 2 months, and so far no complaints. Recently whenever running games, I have mangohud for monitoring system usage, cpu is like 10% gpu around 60-70%, couple gigs of vram usually being used, plus discord and firefox, so I dont think Im overloading the system, but for some reason I keep getting session crashes. It’s like the OS is crashing and it has to restart, because my computer doesnt reboot, just sends me to the login screen, any help with this would be great, maybe a recent update is causing it? I use all AMD if that helps

Hi @rpgstonerr , welcome here! Could you provide some system info or some logs? That will help people to help you.

In the Welcome app you should have a tab called Assistant (or the equivalent of that in your language). In that tab there is the option to share logs.

Other useful info can be obtained by using inxi.

Why dont you just provide TXT files?

  • For hardware info, run inxi -Fxxc0z | eos-sendlog and paste the provided link.
  • For bootlog, run journalctl -k -b -0 | eos-sendlog and paste the provided link.
