While running the installer, this yad interface was appropriately sized and usable. After installing the OS with xfce4 and rebooting into the installed OS, the same yad interface is now too tall. I think it might be exactly the height of the display, so the bottom of the window is cut off by the panel. There’s plenty of empty vertical space in the window, so I can resize it to a usable height without obscuring any of the window contents.
this is some limitations on the very simple yad… you can use alt and grab the window with left mouse key to move it.
Thanks. I was aware and did use Alt. That said, the problem occurs in one of two instances of the same(?) yad interface in two different(?) WMs/DEs, so I don’t think it’s [entirely] yad’s fault.
can you scale it down like this?
I mean its simple about the minimum size to see all options.
i got also these in case:
But yad is clearly a very simple toolkit it has limitations.
Small screen may create problems, but there are command line alternatives for reflector-simple
