So, I sneezed while logging into EOS and must have hit enter multiple times while the sneeze attack went on. 
I then received a message about being locked out for too many attempts to log in. I’ve never been one to forget a password, so I guess that’s why I’ve never seen this before. Just curious if this has always been a feature?

Yep. Always. Or, at least, for as long as I can remember.
Someone shoulda told you, “God bless you” because you needed it

It happened to me a couple of times after leaving cap locks on and locking the session. I finally turned the “feature” off since I’m the only person who uses my computer.
If you’re inclined to do so, edit /etc/security/faillock.conf
and change deny=3
to a number of your choice. The choice of 0
will disable this feature.

Consider taking more allergy pills or not hitting the keyboard
