SDDM is finally getting an update

… and it has been taken over by the KDE team

It’s in the Arch Extra-Testing repo now, and the list of commits (which show a huge number of contributors) is here - https://github.com/sddm/sddm/releases/tag/v0.20.0

Yes, it’s updated, but the shutdown timeout issue still hasn’t been fixed. Keep using SDDM-Git.

Are you sure ? From the first glance, both branches have the same number of commits.

yes,I have installed SDDM and tried to shutdown, it will have a shutdown delay of about 1 minute, switch back to SDDM-Git and the problem disappears

The update to 0.20 fixed that problem on all my machines so far for me.

Also there have been been no new commits to SDDM after the release of 0.20. So sddm and sddm-git should be identical right now (unless sddm-git pulls from a different branch, which it doesn’t).
