Screen corruption after waking up from sleep (KDE Plasma, Wayland)

I’m having a weird issue after my 2nd recent install of EndeavourOS.
After the system wakes up from sleep the screen just becomes this mess

System info:
DE: Kde Plasma
Kernel version: 6.12.1-arch1-1
Graphics(lspci -k | grep -A 3 -i “vga”):
00:01.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Trinity 2 [Radeon HD 7480D]
Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company Device 1850
Kernel driver in use: radeon
Kernel modules: radeon, amdgpu

Things I’ve Noticed/did:

  • This issue did not occur on my first install
  • I didn’t clean my /home partition during reinstall
  • I added a “video=” line in /etc/default/grub under GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT
  • This doesn’t happen on x11
  • This only happens if the system goes to sleep by itself
  • I “fix” this issue by logging in and then running systemctl sleep then waking up the system

If you need more details, feel free to ask!

I tried changing the automatic sleep timer under Settings > System > Power Management to 5 mintues and that seems to fix it?
And this also occurs if the timer is 10 minutes or higher.

No clue why this seems to “fix” it or how setting it to a higher value seems to cause it
