Screen bleeding and bad text rendering

committed on Oct 10, 2020

Long time ago i was playing with such settings… as far as i remember and understand we can set a filer by symlinking like this: (per user setup)

ln -s /usr/share/fontconfig/conf.avail/10-sub-pixel-rgb.conf ~/.config/fontconfig/conf.d

need the path to be created…
~/.config/fontconfig/conf.d

wau it makes a difference i think not sure because my fonts was looking sharp and crisp before already…
i should make photos ?

Yes it’s the only way to compare settings like that if you want to share it

honka_animated-128px-35

i may will do with daylight…
i can confirm that GTK4 apps have really bad font rendering here too also it is only there on my setup…

So, I tried all those solutions and compared font config files with those from an iso, but nothing looks wrong so I decided to see what happened when booting on an usb and there was no problemes so I decided to reinstall and since, everything is good. I hope this topic would be useful later. Thank you very much for your answers.
