Proctologist. I have to deal with a**holes every day, so I might as well get paid well for it.
Iâd like to be one of the people that do the filming for those great BBC David Attenborough series.
A tie between public speaking and wellness coaching!
Todayâs Question of the Day:
What movie was so hyped up by people as being amazing (even a box office smash) and you thought the movie was terrible?
Do i have to pick one?
Itâs most of them.
Which are???
The original Dune movie . . . just sucked in every way possible.
Every superhero movie ever.
@Kresimirâs answer is a good example of what i think ![]()

P.S. How about some remake of prequel sequel in alternative universe where all heroes ever existed collide in one movie-blob

A certain movie series Iâm so sick and tired of thousands of references to it everyday that I read even offline, and people who have small brains, apparently, naming themselves after characters of that series. That granted during the 1990âs I saw only one episode twice, the second time was taking my sister out for a birthday present. It was pretty good and itâs all I care about.
Some of you werenât even born yet when the first version of this series appeared. I was, like, um, five years old. ![]()
Oh it was only one movie? But I donât want to be kicked out of this forum, maybe I hit a nerve end with some peopleâŠ
I lost a contest naming a VST plug-in, because the author decided to name it after this movie. Made me hate it intensely and any other fake science fiction like that.
Maybe Iâm crooked but I really liked âTronâ, couldnât watch all of it. Made me feel old⊠![]()
And in some ways that werenât possible as well. I saw an interview with Frank Herbert beforehand where he said he liked it. Afterwards, I wished I had whatever he had smoked/snorted/drank/injected before he saw it.
Pretty much any CGI fest that gets a lot of buzz.
Iâm one of the probably few people on the planet who havenât seen Titanic. I flat out refuse to OD on schmaltz.
Titanic is okay. The whole romantic subplot is very clichĂ© and over-the-top corny, but the film as a whole is pretty good. The ship is beautiful and the sinking scene is very impressive. Itâs not a waste of time to see it once, in my opinion.
I can join the never seen Titanic club and I will raise you that I have never seen E.T. or Gremlins
AvatarâŠmy wife couldnât watch it because their look scared her too much.
