Was it “attracted” to you? :joy:

This confirms that you have a magnetic personality.

I’ll see my way out…

Not fast food, but perhaps tops a fridge magnet.

Thirty some years ago I was in Miami Florida on AT&T business. At the AT&T Cafeteria I ordered eggs over easy, and toast. In the South Eastern US, eating grits for breakfast is a big thing. I said no grits.

Well it came with grits. I noticed there was a lump in the grits. Not uncommon for grits, especially if they have been sitting on the steam table for a while. So I took my fork to break up the lump and give it a good stir. That’s when I noticed the lump was a grits coated cockroach, about a half inch long. Fortunately I hadn’t taken a bite before this, and I definitely didn’t take a bite of anything after that discovery.

When I was a teenager I worked in a McDonalds for several months. That’s a horror story.

Or, as the World Economic Forum would call it:

Zee bugz!

I went to a McDonald’s out of state and the condiment stand looked like someone threw a grenade at it. Flies all around the stand. Ketchup and mustard spills.

I think I either emailed or call corporate to let him know how unsatisfactory the stand was.

Today’s Question of the Day:

What is the weirdest thing you have seen in someone else’s home?

Me.

An 8ft tall Matryoshka doll as a centerpiece in a room that wasn’t nearly big enough to have a giant Matryoshka doll in the middle of it. Especially since everyone(including me) would inevitably want to open it up.

What was inside…?

I know what it is, i was hoping for a huge  since it’s weird extremely large Matryoshka.

How good are your carving skills? Sounds like a great project considering the current state of the world.

I consider both of my carving and clowning skills on a very high level, suitable for a task!

Unfortunately, nothing exciting…except many more levels of dolls…

It was probably 4ft wide at least. It was huge.

Oh no, that I won’t tell you, this is a family friendly forum!

But a former gf of mine had a street lamp in the livingroom. Think the Narnia Tumnus meet.
