Restoring GRUB after Windows reinstallation

Hi, I’ve used EndeavourOS as my only OS in the past but went away due to reasons. Now I am reconsidering switching back due to all this AI garbage pushed in Windows, but for now I want to dual boot as I’ve still got critical programs and games that only run in Windows.

I will be dual booting on separate drives.

I want to purge 11 23H2 by doing diskpart clean when 24H2 is out so I can install that cleanly. However I fully expect Windows to do some boot manager disruption.

How would I go about restoring GRUB after a clean installation of Windows, so that I can choose to boot into both operating systems once again? Or is this not an issue when dual booting on separate drives? Never have before, so I’m curious.

If you’re on separate drives, Windows can’t mess with your Linux bootloader at all. (Maybe use Tiny11Builder to make sure that whatever bricking Linux updates M$ puts out don’t reach you) I dual-boot on the same drive and Windows has never overwrote my systemd-boot, not even after a reinstall of either Windows or Linux.

Make sure to install Windows before Linux, just in case.
