Hello folks,
can i safely remove x11? or are there dependencies for xorg-wayland that need x11 in its complete setup?

I wouldn’t until all the bugs are ironed out
i dont think that something exists without any bugs, i didnt have problems with wayland the last years with plasma 5 so i wanted to try it out without xorg.
i could try to just remove and see what will happen but i wanted to ask first. Thanks for the advice though.
I don’t know how the interdependency of packages look like now in plasma 6.
In GNOME, for example if I try to remove xorg-server
, it will break my display manager:
$ sudo pacman -R xorg-server
checking dependencies…
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: removing xorg-server breaks dependency ‘xorg-server’ required by gdm
I should have been a little clearer, I’m currently switching between both at the moment as some things are working in X11 and others better in Wayland for how I use the PC. You could give it a go but it’s sort of like why I have both the mainline & LTS kernels, if something breaks theres a backup option.
