Linux generally rules about watered down, there comes lot feedback, Arch-stable does not profit if manjaro-stable set bug report 
Nice observation. When I used Manjaro as my daily driver my “stable” system was actually the testing version. I even liked it better than the stable version.
I heard you enjoy bugs, so we held back Arch stable accommodating yet another layer of Swiss cheese, even stitching patches absent upstream. Sourced from a stable foundation, on which we rely on. All so you can experience our purposely-dated, pseudo-rolling release, buffer-distro layer.
Manjaro is an Archlinux leeching, latent dingleberry.
i used unstable n with manjaro-unstable , manjaro-system does not always worked further had broke then my systembut manually fixed was ok didnt read the email cause filesystem & bash update… testing is sort of buffer but sometimes updates comes right in also bit mixed

Nothing wrong with Manjaro it’s just a different beast and i do like it for it’s difference. I just preferred Antergos even though i ran them both but now i have the best … EndeavourOS! 
There is a lot of “space” between Arch with daily updates and lets say Ubuntu with updates every 6 months.
I like the fact that I get daily updates but for the vast majority of updates I don’t know what bug their fixing or what new feature I might be getting.
So Arch/Endeavour is for me, because I am curious. Manjaro Stable is for my wife’s machine where I hit update twice a month. And that’s still a lot more current as any of the non rolling ones.
In my opinion Manjaro has a place in the Linux/Arch universe.
After all it led me here and might lead others to ArchEndeavour in the future.
As long a distro has a place in a universum thats fine for me… think i was younger mayby got other minded but actually there are a lot distro’s
I think this is really the best analogy Manjaro is based on Arch like Ubuntu is based on Debian, they share many similarities, but they they are different Linux distros. EOS on the other hand I would categorize as an Arch variant, or Arch with some added extras for ease of use and a simplified install, but otherwise Arch.
I understand. But even in the near future it could turn out that “non-techie” may one day stay on ice. Simply, reading the wiki and the forum (Arch, EOS…) Endeavour OS user would be on the winning position anyway.
